It's one of the year´s greatest, but not the best.Ġ1.(16) Ludwig van Beethoven - Für Elise (Greatest Gainer)Ġ4.(03) Foster the People - Coming of AgeĠ7.(02) Rita Ora - Poison (Biggest Free Faller)Ġ8.(RE) Katy Perry feat. I imagine that "Right Here, Right Now" would have a similar position on my YEC so far, if I had one. I was thinking 'great - he's fine now' but then "Fur Elise" becomes your number one!!! Hopefully it's just because it is a beautiful piece of music. But I believe it can be used for anything aesthetically pleasing - whether it be girls, guys or really nice-looking pieces of food. I don't really use "eye candy" much at all, for anything. The chorus of "A Year Without Rain" is delectable! The whole song is on-point for me - haven't listened to it in a while though. Oh yeah, I forgot about "Stay the Night" - I actually love the song, but a little vibrato would be nice! "Mine Again" is so high, and then there's a key change which pushes it even further! Who knows? Maybe it will become a favourite of mine over time. No, "Beautiful" was inspired by another event entirely."Delilah" is nice too - they all are. I guess it never had a chance to stay at #1, but seventh place at month #7 is pretty impressive still. I just checked and "Right Here, Right Now" is #7 on my year-to-date list. Perhaps beneficially, I was unable to do much work today due to a power outage so I was forced to take a break. You're very observant! Yes, I do listen to "Für Elise" when I'm feeling stressed and yesterday my studies took a bit more out of me than usual. I don't think I've ever heard a female be referred to as eye candy before. "Fight Song" just entered the Top 10 so I haven't listened to it yet I'll do so soon, though. "A Year Without Rain" has such a promising first verse, but everything subsequent is so disappointing. I don't feel that way about any of the Daydream tracks, but I get where you're coming from. Okay, I'll admit that her vocals are a bit much on "Mine Again" and "Stay the Night" the chorus for the latter is definitely smack dab in the middle of screeching territory. It's between that one and the title track for my favourite from the album. Aw, I'm a little disappointed "Delilah" didn't get a shout-out.
